Winnie The Pooh Trailer

I may have gotten the surprise of my life last night when I watched this trailer.

Last month, I was discussing with my Aunt and Cousin, what movies we should consider watching in the theaters this year and next year (We rarely go out to watch movies- We simply just do) and I decided to check online to see what movies were set to be released next year (Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Pt. 2 is a must see on my list!!) and I saw that Disney would be releasing a Winnie The Pooh movie!

Now I have to admit that I felt a bit annoyed by this because with the whole 3D and CGI nonsense that many movies are undergoing, I felt that Disney would most likely ruin by beloved childhood cartoon characters! Tell me that I'm not the only one who would think this?

Last night while writing a paper for my Advance Composition class, I decided to check out my sub box on my Youtube account and saw that the trailer for Winnie The Pooh was out! I was really surprised because the movie is set to be released next year in July and, isn't it a bit early to post a trailer?

I clicked the video and decided to see if my assumptions were correct... and boy was I blown away with what I saw!

HAND DRAWN ANIMATION  AND NO 3D!!!! <3

And the one part that brought tears to my eyes (With a smile on my face!!) was the fact that they used one of my absolute favorite songs in the trailer! Somewhere Only We Know by Keane! Definitely their best song ever!

For more personal reasons though, the trailer really touched my heart.

I honestly think that Somewhere Only We Know was the best song choice for the trailer! The lyrics are beautiful and they really describe that feeling and longing to be within a place where you feel happy, where you've made great memories and where you felt Love.

Here is the music video for Somewhere Only We Know (There are in fact two versions of the video but this one I believe is the best one!)

July is going to be an awesome month for me next year! I am definitely going to watch Winnie The Pooh along with Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Pt. 2!!!

So who's going to see it???? :)
